It is extremely important that we can work with different styles. Every shipyard we work with should be able to create a yacht with its own heirlooms. That's why communication is so important in this work. It allows us to give the client what he wants and fulfill his wishes.

The history of the brand

Few designers can boast such a track record as René van der Velden. The love of boats was born in the future master as a child. He went through an excellent school after working for De Voogt, Peter Beeldsnijder and De Vries Lentsch. In 1994 the designer founded his own studio, René van der Velden Yacht Design, and in 1998 the company was recognized by the influential Cruising World yachting publication for its work on a 47-foot sailing boat.

Philosophy

The studio tries to adjust to each shipyard, creating for them unique projects that reflect the DNA of the shipbuilder. This is why designers do not stick to specific styles, but are always open to suggestions.

Specialization .

The studio's portfolio is rich in both small production boats, including explorers, catamarans, sailing boats with Mediterranean cockpit and superyachts. The team designs interiors, exteriors and naval architecture.

Cooperation with shipyards

Since 1999 René van der Velden has been collaborating with the Dutch company Moonen, with which it has implemented about half of its projects. The studio also carried out orders for Timmerman, Alloy Yachts, Cyrus, etc..

Landmark projects

The studio has won over a dozen prestigious international awards, including the 39.16-meter CaryAli and 38.16-meter Northlander. The company is known to the Russian audience thanks to its Petropavlovsk project for Euro Yachting.
