The new Hanse 385 proved to be a bestseller - so successfully it combines good driving characteristics and large capacity, allowing to compare it with 42- and even with 44-footers. Curiously, a large number (about a quarter) of new owners of the 385th are former owners of small Hanse - 325th and 355th models, which indicates their confidence in the company.
In general, the yacht is a typical Hanse - easy to handle (the boat is a bit better than the larger 445 model in this respect), fast enough and very spacious. Two bow thrusters (not yet integrated into the SMS system) in the bow and stern make it easier to manoeuvre in the harbour and approach the parking area.
