The Moody 62DS was a further development of the unusual concept embedded in...Moody 45DS- an unusually elevated saloon with a floor at cockpit floor level. This means that when moving from the interior to the cockpit, there is no need to go down or up the stairs: there is no longer a similar gangway and the interior is separated from the cockpit by a large sliding door, just like on motor yachts.
The high saloon of the yacht is made rather originally: the galley is taken out of it and lowered to a lower level. The high saloon is quite original: the galley is taken out of he is lowered to a lower level. There is a drawback to this - food and appliances will have to be worn up the stairs - not every hostess will like this. However, it's possible that Moody's creative designers will come up with something about it.
