With two 370 hp engines, the boat can reach speeds of up to 33 knots in 5.9 seconds and accelerates from zero to 30 knots in 14 seconds. The patented Beneteau Air Step system makes the Gran Turismo 44 stable and economical. It blows air under the bottom of the case and thus reduces the "sticking" of laminar flow to the bottom surface of the case, resulting in higher speed and more efficient engine operation.
The cockpit and saloon offer a dining room for 6 people, a stationary sunbed and a mini-caboose. The steering wheel will not have any problems with visibility thanks to the huge side and windshield. When the hatch is open, the helmsman, who is 180 cm tall, will also be able to operate the boat comfortably and watch standing up. If a tilting step was provided under the wheelchair, this pleasure would be available to people of any height.
Gran Turismo 44's living deck accommodates two double cabins, a crew cabin and two large bathrooms with a separate 'corner' for showering. On the lower level there is also a galley and another dining area. With its small size, the Gran Turismo 44 has a very large garage capable of accommodating up to 2.4 m of RIB. A wide hatch in the garage floor gives easy access to the engines.
