As opposed toBeneteau Swift Trawler 34, the Swift Trawler 34 S has a different layout on the upper deck. The flybridge of the Swift Trawler 34 S has no control station and only serves as a place for relaxation and entertainment. Upstairs, there is a dining area which is transformed into a huge sunbed. In addition, there is still plenty of storage space for extra equipment such as dinghies, bikes, surfboards, etc.
Absolutely justified to call the Swift Trawler 34 S a summer house on the water - the yacht is perfect for weekend cruises as well as longer trips with a small crew, including children. The living area includes a forward master stateroom, an onboard cabin with berths one above the other and a fairly large bathroom allowing even two people to take a shower.
The boat is economical and easy to operate and berth. Much has been done to make the Swift Trawler 34 S easy to control and moor, even on its own - note the asymmetrical layout of the left and right deck aisles and the bulwark door on the right. The saloon is planned on one level (this is important from a safety point of view) and, apart from the control station, has a sofa area with a table and a perfectly equipped galley. The Swift Trawler 34 S looks a bit archaic on the outside, but it was built more to be enjoyed from the inside than from the outside. The Swift Trawler 34 S has a top speed of about 20 knots on test and at this speed the boat can go just over 200 miles. But in displacement mode at about 7 knots, the autonomy of the Swift Trawler 34 S increases to 700 miles.
