Cigale yachts stand alone in today's sailing industry - too many unusual things in their design. The Cigale 14 is the smallest yacht in the range, designed by Jean-Marie Finot. The Cigale 14 belongs to the ULDB type, an ultra-light displacement boat, and this becomes apparent with just one glance at the TTH: at 14m the boat has a displacement of only 8 tons! Racing roots can be clearly seen in her design: the weight of the ballast is 45% displacement - a rare figure for today's yacht building industry.
The layout of the yacht is extremely unusual, with her salon located aft under the cockpit. Despite this, she can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people.
