The Dehler 45, like the rest of the Dehler yachts, is an excellent sailing boat, with proportions that are not traditional for today - a yacht that looks noticeable already to its brethren in length, but similar proportions are characteristic of most Dehler yachts: a narrow hull has an advantage on sharp courses against the waves. A heavy ballast keel with a weight greater than that of most comparable yachts is responsible for the restoring torque. This gives an advantage in strong winds, while the Dehler 45 has a smaller width - and therefore a smaller wet surface - in favour of the weaker ones.
Elegant and well finished, the Dehler 45 is perfect for families, but it has also proven itself in racing.
