The goal of Comet 41S was to keep its bigger sisters attractive - Comet 45S иComet 50SC. For achievement of the necessary result it was not possible to do only computer modeling (as it became now norm), and it was necessary to construct almost ten models in scale 1:10 to find necessary visual proportions, and also precisely to define the sizes of a cockpit and cabin.
A lot of attention has also been paid to the contours of the yacht - it features very good alignment in different windy situations, very good response to the helmsman's actions, as well as the ability to accelerate quickly at gusts.
