Maestro 38 (like its predecessor Maestro 35) is an attempt by the Finns to show what a small performance cruiser is. This is a lightweight enough yacht with a very high (almost 45%) percentage of ballast in displacement, which guarantees excellent stability and the ability to carry full sailing for a long time when the wind increases. The boat is available in two interior variants - Spartan «(with hanging» bunks and linen sewings) and comfortable, with«full»wooden finishing.
The design of the yacht, which was developed in 1985, is now obsolete, which is noticeable at least in the contours and proportions of the boat. In the near future a successor of the Maestro 35/38 series is expected to appear, but so far this boat is in quite good demand, including in the secondary market. The new flagship of the shipyard, the Maestro 40, will be a replacement for this boat.
