The flagship of all Beneteau pleasure cruising boats is the 10-seater Flyer 850 Sun Deck. With passenger capacity the company is hot - on the stern sofa can comfortably seat six, another passenger next to the captain, andtwo more passengers will have to reach the cherished resting places on the soft sun loungers on the bow deck, clinging tightly to the whirlpools as the boat flies over the waves. Or a spacious cabin with galley, toilet, bow sofa and two beds under the cockpit.
And eating lunch cooked in the galley will have to take turns, because the two-seater steering seat, under which hides a wind turbine with an optional fridge, stove and sink, is located much higher than the table.
But the power structure and technical characteristics of the Flyer 850 Sun Deck are truly respected - two outboard engines of 200 hp each can accelerate the boat to 42 knots. Economy is also all right: with its 400-litre tank, the boat can sail 670 kilometres at a cruising speed of 28 knots. The patented Air Step system, which creates air bubbles under the bottom, works just fine!
