The Swan 60 is an attempt by the shipyard and the Swan 60 is the first of its kind.Hermann Frerr Sr. (a permanent designer of the shipyard for many years) to feel the new appearance of their yachts. The 60 has a very spacious interior, a comfortable and functional cockpit and very good sailing characteristics. The hull design is unconventional for a Finnish shipyard: it uses a large number of modern ultra-light fibre materials, while Nautor is usually very careful in its use, preferring conventional glass fabrics.
The boat has modern hull proportions with the maximum width shifted back to the stern, and very efficient hydrodynamic surfaces - rudder and keel. The yacht can be delivered with two upper deck options - open Mediterranean cockpit or closed cockpit with dinga hangar.
