Hallberg-Rassy 62

The 62-foot HR 62 is one of the most desirable boats in Germany - according to a survey by Yacht Magazine, one in three German yachtsmen would like to have one. It is an extraordinary success to have such a yacht in the demanding German market. In the USA, too, the boat won the Yacht of the Year title in 2006.
As usual, HR did not seek to create an ultra lightweight yacht, preferring instead to create a reliable and very spacious long distance cruiser on the open sea, suitable for all heavy crossings with the highest level of comfort on board. The yacht's cockpit is covered with a rigid Hardtop roof, making it not only well protected from waves and splashes, but also sheltering the crew from the sun and wind. The HR 62 also incorporates the Easy Sailing principle - the control buttons for all winches are located at hand at the steering wheel, right on the steering column pedestal.
