Chapparal 246 SSi is the flagship of the SSi model line and carries all the design findings, design solutions and consumer amenities of these Bowriders. The side sponsors of the enlarged nose hull - Wide Tech's signature design - prevent the cockpit from splashing, and the elongated bottom relative to the speaker gives excellent dynamics.
As with all SSi Bowriders, there is a large bathing platform, an aft sunbed transformer, a 24-litre fridge aft and a glacier in the bow cockpit, plenty of handrails and a water ski or wakeboard hold between chairs.
Folding mooring ducks, LED perimeter lighting, integrated with iPod AM/FM stereo system with CD and MP3 player, which is controlled by remote controls on the steering post and transom.
But the flagman also has differences from "younger" boats. In the bow there is another folding gangway designed for going ashore. It retracts into the free space of the anchorage. In the swim platform ladder compartment, however, an additional chain box with an anchor bolt was made.
The main difference is the left console. Behind the softly opening door there is a room with an opening porthole, sink and chemical toilet. It is not for nothing that the shipyard positions the Chapparal 246 SSi as a family bowrider.
