The Chapparal 216 SSi Bowrider is only a foot longer than the youngest model, the 206 SSi, and all 30 centimetres have gone to increase the front cockpit. But it is not small on all the boats of the SSi line, and this is achieved by an elegant design solution: while maintaining the usual contours, the bow sides were slightly expanded, resulting in a sofa U-shaped.
Hence the complex shape of the deck, with its additional side sponsors, and the fancy shape of the bathing platform, echoing the bow tip. At the shipyard this solution is called Wide Tech, which is indicated by the letters WT in the model index.
Under the front cushion of the sofa, there is a thermally insulated compartment where you can load ice, put food on it and melt water will flow overboard. In addition to the glacier, there are also some chandeliers, and hinged cushions with magnetic clips on consoles cover two large trunks.
All upholstery is made of Duralife Max vinyl, from which even the ballpoint pen is erased, and Chapparal is very proud to be exclusive consumers of this miracle material.
