The third World Championship in the Gazprom Swan 60class started on Monday 11 May in Italy, on the coast of Tuscany.
The four-day regatta will feature crews from Denmark, Italy and Finland, with many famous athletes, including, for example, two-time Olympic champion Luis Doreste.
Russia will be represented by Russian-Italian team Bronenosec and Gazprom Youth Sailing Challenge team. At the same time «Bronenosec» will try to defend its title which it has held for two years already.
The first races of the championship begin on May 12, and the event will end on May 16.
