On Sunday, June 7, Burevestnik Group together with Hublot watch brand opened the 2015 yachting season at Moscow Imperial River Yacht Club with a motorboat and yacht rally - Hublot Powerboat Trophy. Twenty-four teams took part in it. Boats and yachts from Sunseeker, Chris Craft, Crownline Boats, Mastercraft and Axis towboats participated in the race.
All the racers were required to pass a high-speed section in compliance with the traffic rules in the waters of the Moscow River, and then follow the route visiting a certain number of control points, solving logic problems and puzzles. At each checkpoint the teams received an envelope with the coordinates of the next point and the task that needed to be completed.
The winners of the Hublot Powerboat Trophy were chosen based on the total score for the accuracy of the route and the results of the tasks. They were boat number 17 Formula 300 controlled by captain Maxim Gugnyaev, boat number 12, MasterCraft X2, Alexander Kornev and boat number 22, Four Winns Vista 245, Sergey Boldyrev.
