The Vladimir Vysotsky Memorial Regatta will be held in Sochi on 25 July. The sailing regatta «Vladimir Vysotsky Festival» is traditional and has been held for several years. The first regatta took place in 2000. The start of the race is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Sochi Yacht Club.
About 40 yachts are expected to participate. Professionals and amateurs will race on boats of different classes.
Yachtsmen promise to sing the songs of Vysotsky during the race.
In addition to the races, the audience will enjoy the author's song concert. Recall that July 25, 2015 marks the 35th anniversary of the death of the poet and film actor. On this day in Sochi there will be a creative evening, an exhibition of works by Mikhail Shemyakin and an audio flash mob.
