Yacht Harbour broker introduces Siri for yachts

Artificial intelligence developed by Yacht Harbour will help to find the boat that best suits the customer's expectations.

The program, called Brook, is connected to Yacht Harbour's database and uses this information to answer a consumer's question. Brook has been tested for a week in the US and has successfully answered over 80% of user queries. The interface of the program resembles a regular chat room.

Brooke is a search robot capable of performing complex searches by several criteria. For example, Brook can answer which yacht is the fastest on the market or provide a list of Heesen yachts built after 2005 that are available for purchase. The program is also able to perceive more complex questions, such as «which yacht built by Heesen between 1990 and 2010 and offered for sale is the cheapest?»

«When people are looking for a yacht they want the flexibility of human conversation and at the same time immediate results. In yachting clients often know exactly what they want, and Brooke is able to lead them to what they want much faster than any other system», comments Dmitry Semenikhin, Yacht Harbour's founder.

The program is capable of self-learning while interacting with the user. When a question comes in that Brooke can't answer, it starts searching for potential answers, the list of which reaches the Yacht Harbour editors. The editors manually mark a digestible answer, the program remembers it and later chooses the right option by itself.
