Michel Carsenty has acquired the Italian shipyard Canados and announced a new product line. The French entrepreneur has built 12 boats at the yard in the last few years, including for his brand Oceanic Yachts. In the future, Canados will continue to produce Oceanic expedition yachts. Additionally, the Italian shipyard will build modern classics under its own brand as well as Gladiator Yachts sport boats.

«Acquiring such an iconic shipyard as Canados was not a caprice: it was a long process and a well-thought-out step," Carsenti says. - We are currently busy refurbishing and modernizing the production facilities as well as the two marinas that are part of the yard. We will soon introduce our new products to the market. I want to point out that our goal is to continue to build boats "from couture" and not to chase high production rates».

Canados has two private marinas with direct access to the sea, providing berths for the winter storage of customers' yachts, maintenance and upgrades.

Since 1946, when the yard was founded, more than 70 yachts have come off the slipways. One of the most famous Canados today is the 36-metre Canados 120, the first of which, a boat called Far Away, was launched in 2012.
