The fifth round of the Sochi Winter Cup series will be held in the Imereti Port of Sochi on 6-8 March. The races will take place on GP 26 yachts. Both professionals and amateurs are invited to participate.
The organizers have set aside three days for the regatta: one training day and two racing days the results of which will be taken into account. In addition to exciting races on the water, participants will receive educational lectures on sailing, watching video recordings of races and analysis of errors from leading PROyachting professionals.
The Sochi Winter Cup is a series of six regattas taking place every month from November 2015 to April 2016 in the capital of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. The regatta has already established a core of regular competitors battling for the season lead. But, as always, the doors are open for new crews.
The winners are determined both on each individual stage and on the sum of the best 5 stages of the series. There will be a full racing programme, and every evening there will be a gala-dinner or a cocktail party in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
