Oceanco reveals megayacht shimmering like a jewel

At the Dubai show Oceanco unveiled the Moonstone Concept, a new megayacht designed by the yard in collaboration with Van Geest Design on the basis of its existing 90-metre hull.

Like the jewel after which Oceanco Moonstone is named, this 90-metre yacht shines and sparkles thanks to sophisticated exterior lighting designed by Temeloy Advanced Lighting Design.

In the evening, 300 programmable white triangles are lit on each side of the hull, creating the illumination of a jewel.

They are powered by a 70-square-meter solar array located on the roof of the superstructure. One solar day is enough to provide three hours of continuous operation.

Another feature of Moonstone is her bow, which has a vertical bow that integrates the anchor and mooring bays.

A pair of MTU 20V4000 M73L engines will propel the yacht to 18.5 knots. Moonstone's owner and guests can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the sea in the spacious living room. She has a beach club aft with an illuminated infinity-edge swimming pool. There is a helipad on the bow. The owner has a full deck with a spa and gym at his disposal. 12 guests will be accommodated in six double cabins.
