One of the largest yachts ever built by Amels, the 74-metre Plvs Vltra has arrived in Ibiza from Flissingen, The Netherlands.

Plvs Vltra is the first hull of the Amels 242 Limited Editions range, with the exterior design by famed Tim Heywood.

The LIMITED EDITIONS series is Amels' attempt to provide clients with a bridge between the fully bespoke and the semi-custom options, with the aim of building and delivery times faster than for the fully bespoke projects, whilst maintaining the high standards of quality that are expected of superyachts.

The Plvs Vltra started construction last December, so you could say that Amels has coped with the shortened delivery times.

When choosing a Limited Editions yacht, the future owner will not be able to modify the technical features of the yacht, but will be free to customize the interior by selecting the interior designer. In the case of the Plvs Vltra, the owner has chosen Andrew Winch.

The layout provides 6 cabins for up to 12 passengers. This consists of a master suite on the upper deck, two VIP suites on the main deck and three on the lower deck. The main deck boasts a large infinity edge pool. A tender storage area is provided on two sides of the pool. The sun deck has a hot tub surrounded by sun loungers and a helipad on the bridge deck.

The yacht is propelled by two diesel engines reaching a maximum speed of 16.5 knots. At a cruising speed of 12.5 knots, the Plvs Vltra has a cruising range of 5,000 miles.
