A 2013 yacht from the movie «The Great Gatsby» is for sale by owner Steve Gunns on the Garage Sail Trail website. This is the most expensive item ever listed on this site, which specializes in reselling used clothing, used appliances, furniture and other items common to «garage sale».

The historic 60-foot ketch Hurrica V was built by William Oliver in 1924 and participated in World War II as a search and rescue boat.

Architect Steve Gunns bought the vessel in 2001. It took him $4 million and seven years to restore it.

Today, the Hurrica V is worth just $1.85 million and can be purchased not only through Garage Sail Trail, but also on eBay.

The owner claims he just doesn't have time to enjoy the boat, which was the star of the 2013 film «The Great Gatsby». Fans of the film will recognize Hurrica V as the yacht that belonged to the mentor of young Gatsby, played by Callan McAuliffe.

«I have two sons who are in school and because of family commitments there is never enough time. She's down in the marina for months at a time.»," Gunns said.

Though the ketch is old and has been restored in the spirit of the 1920s, it is equipped with all the latest technology, including a thruster, electric winches and such creature comforts as a washing machine, microwave and television.

The Hurrica V's four cabins offer bunks for eight guests. Two en-suite bathrooms are also provided. The icing on the cake - if you can't sail, Steve Gunns can teach you himself.
