Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts showcased its new S621 at the Monaco Boat Show.

A notable feature of the 62m S621 is the elongated Explorer-style stern with a giant open-air lounge and infinity pool.

«When we started working on the S621 with designer Francesco Paczkowski we tried to create a new type of yacht," says Tankoa president Guido Orsi. - In the end we managed to create something really unique».
Yacht designer Francesco P aczkowski adds: «I was inspired by two Tankoa designs - the 69m Suerte and the S501 under construction. The S621, in turn, has an outstandingly distinctive exterior, with larger windows - even larger than on Tankoa - and a powerful superstructure».

The hull is in steel and the superstructure is in light alloy. Two Caterpillar 3512 engines with 1380kW each will propel the S621 to 16.5 knots. At 12 knots the yacht can travel a maximum of 4500 miles on one tank.

The 50-metre S501 is currently under construction at Tankoa Yachts' docks and is due to be handed over to the owner in April 2017.
