«On January 21, to the sound of the owner's favourite Star Wars soundtrack» CRN launched the megayacht Cloud 9. This is the second largest vessel in the yard's history after the 80-metre Chopi Chopi.

Cloud 9 was originally built for a Turkish client who passed away before the project was completed. Brokerage Burgess was able to source a buyer for Chopi. An experienced Australian owner has found a buyer.

The exterior of Cloud 9 was designed by Zuccon while the interior was done by Winch Design. She can accommodate up to 16 guests (12 in charter mode) in her master suite, VIP suite and 6 guest staterooms served by a crew of 22.

Overall, the yacht boasts more than 1,000 square meters of living space. Cloud 9 features include a spacious beach club and an extended swim platform. An entire deck is dedicated to the owner with a private lounge area forward of the master suite.

From a technical point of view the yacht is equipped with two Caterpillar 3516C's of 2680hp each, guaranteeing her a top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

The owner of Clouds 9 has previously owned a yacht with the same name. It was a 60m CMN built in 2009. In June 2015 the owner sold her for €34.9 million and she has since been renamed Ice Angel.
