The J80 monotype cruising races will be held from 3 to 10 November on Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands. The regatta will be hosted by the international class marina «Puerto Calero».

The plan for this year is as follows: November 4 - training, 5-6 and 8-9 - fleet racing. On November 7, there will be a team competition between the national crews, where each team consists of three boats, with one of them being required to have a lay helmsman. Their boats compete together against the opponent and help their mates. The team whose boats finish first wins. Then the opponent changes and, at the end of the «round-robin», the points are counted.

«Federation Cup» gathers yachtsmen for the fourth time and over the years has managed to acquire regular fans. To date more than 20 entries have been received from titled Russian and European yachtsmen. All last season winners will come again to defend their titles: they are Russian-Spanish crew «New Territories», Andrey Varvarenko's crew with Spanish helmsman Rajko Tabares and crew of Anywayanyday by Igor Lisovenko. Vladimir Silkin, the President of the Russian Yachting Federation, will take part in the regatta for the first time. The yachtsmen of«Synergy» and RUS7 will participate. «The best» match-racers Sergey Musikhin and Evgeny Neugodnikov are expected.

The organizers are Russian Yachting Federation, PIRogovo and Anywayday.
