We have already announced the Mercedes and Silver Arrows Marine project(once and twice) - the 14-metre Arrow460-granturismo with car-like contours, also known by its romantic name «Silver Arrow of the Seas». At the Monaco Yacht Show which ended in Monaco the designers shared the final version of the joint project.
The first «arrows» will get to owners in 2015. This will be a limited edition Edition 1 with a price tag of 1.25 million Euro. The basic package of the special edition will include air conditioning and premium audio system, ice maker, dishwasher and compressor unit. A nice compliment for first time customers.
The interior «Silver Arrow» is designed in the Mercedes design tradition of nubuck, eucalyptus wood and synthetic materials. The boat concept includes a spacious 10-person seating area that can be converted into a dining area or even a bedroom.
The yacht is equipped with two Yanmar 6LY3-ETP diesel engines with 480 hp each. At cruising speed she runs at 28 knots, at maximum she is capable of speeds up to 40 knots in light wave conditions.
