The first round of 2014 RC44 season ended on 16th February, the best results among Russian crews were shown by . «Synergy». On the last day of Virginia Gorga Cup regatta «Synergy» finished in top three twice and as a result earned a bronze medal.
The British crew of Team Aqua became overall champion of the Virgin Gorda Cup regatta from February 11 to 16. Another British crew, Peninsula Petroleum Sailing Team, is in the middle of the three. Their boat outstripped our teams pretty aggressively throughout the regatta. And in the first race on Sunday, February 16, they bumped into Gazprom Youth Sailing Challenge. The Russian crew had to return to the port ahead of schedule due to the yacht's breakdown. British Peninsula received three penalty points.
