Italian crew Luna Rossa are back in the game - the team is competing in the 35th America's Cup, their regular sponsor, Prada, has confirmed that they will pay the team's expenses every year, until the start of the regatta. Between February 2014 and October 2017, Prada will make several contributions, totalling €50 million.
Despite the fact that during the 34th Cup the Italians performed, shall we say, not entirely well, the company is ready to continue to place its logo on the Luna Rossa boat and carry out marketing activities related to the name of the team. Which is not surprising: Luna Rossa is controlled by Miuccia Prada herself and her husband, the company's CEO, Patrizio Bertelli.
