"If God had wanted fiberglass boats, he would have created fiberglass trees."

That's the inscription that adorned the office of Bill Morgan, the man who breathed new life into the legendary shipyard Hacker-Craft and then ran it since 1959. Bill passed away on February 21st 2012 at the age of 84, but will always be remembered for saving the Hacker.

Hacker-Craft boats are a cult thing in America. Suffice it to say that the Italian Carlo Rivathe author of the apotheosis of Italian elegance. Riva AquaramaThe creation of the boat was inspired by the forms and philosophy of Hacker-Craft, which had already been under construction for half a century.
