Venus for Steve.

A yacht designed by Steve Jobs together with French designer Philippe Starck was launched yesterday in the Dutch city of Alsmer. Venus is about 70-80 meters long and is steered by seven 27-inch iMacs in the wheelhouse. A video of the ceremony can be seen here.

According to biographical book by Walter Isaacs about the head of Apple, Jobs was not a fan of custom yachts, so it is not surprising that he wanted to create something special.

The best illustration of this is Steve's own words: "I know I may die and leave Lauren with an unfinished boat. But I have to work on it. Otherwise I will have to admit that I am really close to death".

Do you like the superyacht?
