Danish submarine builder U-Boat Worx has unveiled the new C-Explorer 5 submarine. The cabin of C-Explorer 5 is air-conditioned and can accommodate four passengers and one pilot. The submarine can dive to a depth of 300 meters and "accelerate" to 3 knots. The hull of the submarine is made of steel and acrylic. The battery pack provides her with 8 hours of diving time (in the standard configuration). This time can be extended up to 16 hours (optional). For maximum enjoyment, the C-Explorer 5 can be equipped with an automated manipulator arm, LED lights and a high-resolution video camera.
The starting price of the new product is $2.4 million.
