The fifth Transatlantic Maxi Cup, a 2,700 nautical mile race, set sail from Tenerife on 26 November. Today the biggest yacht in the fleet is the 55-metre three-masted schooner Shenandoah of Sark, which has been sailing the oceans for over 100 years. The competition will finish in British Virgin Islands. By the way, for the first time Russia's representatives participate in this race on two yachts: 92-foot Med Spirit and 100-foot Cape Arrow.
