The legendary Eclipse may have to say goodbye to the title of the largest private yacht. The family-run Lurssen shipyard has launched Azzam, according to superyachttimes.com. Photographer Martin Fischbacher was the first to capture this event. According to preliminary reports she will be 180 metres long, but it is not possible to confirm this information. Azzam will not only be the longest but also the fastest yacht in the world. Designed by Italian studio Nauta Yachts it will cost £400m. More photos here.
