Taking a military boat and turning it into an aggressive high-tech pleasure tender is the recipe used by the French Couach shipyard for its new boat, the Hornet. «Its» parent was the 1300 FIC, an army cutter for coastal protection. Hull materials, performance, and impact resistance were taken from it. What the manufacturer paid special attention to is on-board equipment, which is exactly the same as on-board equipment of military boats.
It will be possible to see the new boat this autumn at the Cannes Boat Show.
