A replica of the ship Golden Hind, on which Francis Drake, her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I's corsair, was the first Englishman to circumnavigate the world, is for sale. Its current owner, Simon Reid, sees the buyer as someone willing to continue to run a meaningful business for the city. Since 1963, the ship, moored in Devon Harbour, has attracted crowds of tourists eager to explore the life of 16th-century navigators. But it's also possible to have a wedding - and the galleon has a licence to do just that. Mr Reid expects to fetch around £360,000 for Golden Hind.
