Everything is moving towards New Zealanders taking all the sailing trophies being raffled off San Francisco these days. Teams from that country are leading the way in the 18ft Skiff for the Mark Foy Trophy. After 6 of the 10 scheduled races, theyhold the toptwo spots in the overall standings. In the same waters, opposite Alcatraz Prison, the most prestigious trophy in the sailing world, theAmerica's Cup, is being played,with the Kiwis leading 6-0. Yesterday the racing days coincided, with Skiff boats taking to the water right after the AC72 giants.

The racing for the Mark Foy Trophy started on September 7 and will end on September 15, with Peter Norbert's German team in the frame , still in 9th place.
