Family contracting

Residents of the town of Broadstairs on the south east coast of England recently witnessed an unusual £10,000 operation: the Cousins family hired a crane to retrieve an eight-ton boat from their backyard. John Cousins and his son began building an 'Out ofBlue' yachtin theirbackyard six years ago. The 38-foot, £175,000 yacht was too big to pull out using conventional methods, so the builders had to hire a crane to lift Out of Blue over the roof of their house and into a driveway. John Cousins, 53, says he will never forget the moment when the luxury yacht they built, with its bedrooms and several bathrooms, hovered over the roof of his house.
