An unusual fog was seen over the ocean near a New Jersey beach last Sunday. It looked so much like a tsunami that it terrified locals. Beach rescuers sent photos of the unusual phenomenon to the New Jersey andPhiladelphia weather service. Meteorologists explained the nature of the "fog tsunami": warm air currents were quickly cooled by cold ocean waters and condensed, forming a veil of fog near the shore.
