Max Zhivov, chief architect of Baikal Yachts Group, has designed a steel 16-metre yacht for cruising the seas and rivers of Russia. The Baikal 16 SMY will be able to sail from St. Petersburg to Sochi or Sevastopol. According to the creator, the yacht will easily withstand the conditions of the Russian winter. There are two layout options with two or three cabins. The master suite is located in the prow of the boat and spans the full beam of the hull. The main saloon area is approximately 30 square meters. Solar panels are installed on the roof. Two 180 hp engines will each propel the yacht to a comfortable 12 knots.
