More than 90 thousand people attended the London Boat Show which ended on 17 January. 132 of the 400 exhibiting boats were shown to the public for the first time. Among these was the star of this year's show, the 40-metre Sunseeker 131 that forced the temporary closure of London Airport. A helicopter was stationed at the airport to bring visitors who wished to explore the yacht from the inside on board. During the 10 days of the show Sunseeker was able to negotiate contracts worth a total of 40 million pounds.
