Superyacht with a smile

New renders of the Pershing 140 superyacht, which will be launched in 2018, show in detail the unusual design of its bow, borrowed from sports cars. The predatory 'grille' is a favourite element of Pershing's new flagship designer Fulvio de Simoni. This solution has been used before in smaller models, but never on a boat of this size. De Simoni expects "a lot of frustration" from rival shipyards when they see the Pershing 140. This boat, says the designer, "will be the perfect boat for those who have abandoned the cozy sedan in favour of a beautiful sports car, which is sometimes comfortable too.
