A 24-year-old Frenchman sailed around the world on the yacht Yvinec with an unusual companion, a red hen nicknamed Monique. In May 2014, he crossed the Atlantic and settled on St. Barths for a year to earn money for the second leg of the voyage in the Arctic Ocean. In August 2015, Monique and her skipper reached Greenland and stayed there for the winter. Monique proved to be a resilient lady: even in the cold, she continued to delight her host with fresh eggs for breakfast! Their journey should continue this summer, but in the meantime we offer you to watch the best moments of their previous adventures.
