During a vacation in the British Virgin Islands, Barack Obama tried kitesurfing for the first time. Virgin Group founder and billionaire Richard Branson became the former American president's teacher . Friends made a bet on who of them would be faster in learning the new kind of water sport. While Obama was learning to manage a kite, Branson was mastering a foilboard. Note that both are not new to water sports. Obama is into surfing and Branson has been racing a kiteboard for a long time. At the end of the day, they staged a little competition to see who lasts longer on the board. A photo and video of the contest are posted on Virgin's official website.
