The Ferretti Custom Line Shipyard, specializing in the production of fibreglass boats in sizes from 26 to 37 meters, presented the new Ferretti Custom Line 100' project.
The industrial design studio Zuccon International Project (which has a number of models for Bertram, Baglietto and Posilippo), as well as AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology (its own center of bulk research and design Ferretti Group) and a team of designers from Centro Stile Ferrettigroup worked on the project.
Custom Line is positioning this boat as «designed for active, young owners who want a sporty, sporty design without giving up the comfort and abundant space of wide hull yachts» (to quote Marco Segato, brand manager of Custom Line). The 100' has such outstanding charisma that the shipyard has also decided to keep the previous Custom Line 97' in its line for those who want to build a more classic boat.
The CL 100' leaves a really good impression: lots of light, space, generous glazing, modern interiors and a memorable facade. The riding qualities correspond: a pair of MTU of 2639 «horses» promises a top speed of 26 knots.
The first vessel in the series is scheduled to be launched in spring 2011.
