Silvana was one of the last boats in Perini Navi's line of 56-meter yachts to be built. As a consequence, she got all the improvements of the earlier pennants plus some more. For example, Silvana's silhouette is the lowest of all the boats in the series, thanks to a slimmer superstructure profile (while the internal volume of rooms in the superstructure remains the same). The forward contours of the hull have been changed which improved the boat's nimbleness and sea-going ability. Hull displacement was reduced a little, what improved running characteristics.
