«It will not be long before the legendary eight-deck» Octopus tops the list of the world's largest explorers, as it will soon be replaced by the REV over 180 meters long. The mega-yacht has also made her mark on history by participating in expeditions, such as the salvage of one of the famous warships of the Second World War, the Japanese Musashi, and the rescue of the HMS Hood, the Royal British Navy cruiser that led to the sinking of the First World War. The Octopus is now for sale through Burgess. The asking price is €295 million.

Exterior and interior design

Pay attention - the hull and superstructure forms are alien to pretentiousness. The interior was similarly kept secret until the moment the boat was offered for sale. To attract potential buyers, a broker shot a video with the most interesting things onboard.

Onboard amenities

The owner wasn't after the glamour and glamour of his own apartment, but the most important thing for him was to be comfortable onboard. That's why the boat got two elevators, one of which serves only the owner, spa with hammam and sauna, gym, cinema, observation and basketball courts, room for observing the underwater life, swimming pool, beach club with a bar.

What definitely makes you cluck your tongues in admiration is the arming of the tenders and water toys. Aft is a huge sunken garage. It houses, among other things, a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) ready to dive to depths of 3,000 meters.

There was also enough space to equip the dive center next door with a baroque chamber.

Features

The owner's main whim was a professional recording studio, fully protected from outside noise. This feature attracted legendary rock musician Mick Jagger, who recorded his next album on the yacht in 2011.
