On the main German boat show in Düsseldorf, the company Drettmann Yachts introduced two new lines of superyachts created after the merger with Sunrise Yachts. The design of both concepts was developed by Focus Yacht Design.
The elegant models in the Drettmann Motor Yachts range are equipped with sliding side doors and folding balconies on board. Aft is a real "beach area" with two side bathing areas. Separate aisles for guests and crew are provided. So far this range includes four yachts from 20 to 37 meters in length. On the 32-meter model, capable of accommodating 10 guests, the owner's suite is located forward on the main deck and four double cabins on the lower deck.
Another series - Drettmann Explorer Yachts - is designed for long distance cruises. The more "rugged" design of these boats requires extra space both inside and outside - to accommodate more tenders and water toys. This range includes three models built in aluminum and steel, with lengths ranging from 27 to 37 meters. The 32-metre yacht, similar in layout to the Drettmann Motor Yachts, can also accommodate 10 guests.
At the exhibition, the new model range was received very positively. The first boats are expected to appear on the water at the end of 2012.
