50 meters of enlightenment

Satori is the newest creation of Heesen.

Proud owner of the new 50-meter Satori (enlightenment in Japanese) from Heesenlaunched in the Dutch city of Oss, admires the genius Remy Tessier. The demanded French designer has successfully realized his dream of the perfect boat.

With the help of mirrors, zebrano wood, elaborate lighting and white leather, Tessier created a graphic monochrome atmosphere in the main salon. Five cabins - the owner's suite, two VIPs and two doubles - are designed in the same style and can accommodate 10 people.

The designer also presented his new furniture series on the boat. It is stated that the chairs around the huge round table "are equipped with memory and always return to their places". We would like to know how this happens, because so far the imagination of the editorial office draws an image of chairs, in the morning dullly gathered to the table in front of the foolish guests.

The exterior design and naval architecture of this semi-displacement boat was developed by a renowned bureau. Omega. Two MTU diesels accelerate the boat to 24 knots and allow it to move at 12 knots in cruising mode. The cruising range in this case is 3,200 nautical miles. The boat is ABS certified, its 8.5 m wide aluminum hull has a displacement of 322 tons and a draft of 2.5 m.

The descent was accompanied by the breaking and drinking of a bottle of champagne, a celebration for friends and shipyard workers right on the dock and a private party in a smaller circle on board. She was hosted by her project manager, and now Satori's captain Mark Levy, whom the owner praised in his speech for "learning a lot from him during the construction process".
