Brand History

In 1995, Massimo Verme set up his own business and started providing services in boat design and 3D modeling. He was one of the first in the industry to use Algor software (now Autodesk Simulation).

By the beginning of the 2000s the Design Bureau was already well known in the Italian shipbuilding circles, and in 2009 the company received its first significant award.

Philosophy

Massimo is convinced that the future is in innovation, so the studio is constantly improving its development methods. In projects, you can feel the «Italian character» with its temperament, elegance and beauty.

Specialty

The company initially designed individual parts and assemblies for boats, but by 1998 Verme was already fully engaged in naval architecture and superyacht engineering.

Cooperation with the shipyards

One of the company's first serious partners was Leopard, followed by Overmarine and ISA. Today the portfolio includes boats of such significant manufacturers as Benetti, Azimut, Wally, Ferretti, etc.

Landmark projects

In 2010 the Permare Amer 116 was awarded the European Boat of the Year award for its modern, economical and productive hull. The studio also designed the architecture for the no less famous Custom Line 120 and NAVETTA 42.

The team at

The office is located in Lavagna, close to the Italian yachting center - Genoa. The office has a team of 12 naval architects and engineers with many years of experience.
